RIO RANCHO, N.M. – Presbyterian Healthcare Services is hosting its first Kidney Transplant Reunion Saturday, September 12 to honor both deceased and living donors along with their recipients.
For patients who suffer from renal failure, kidney transplants can be a live changing gift. Presbyterian’s Kidney Transplant Center is located at Presbyterian Hospital and is one of two transplant centers in New Mexico. Since the program began, Presbyterian has performed 900 transplants.
Presbyterian partners with New Mexico Donor Services, a leading organ procurement organization, and is certified by the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) and Medicare (CMS).
