**Public Service Announcement** Presbyterian Rust Medical Center’s Volunteer Council Sponsors

RIO RANCHO, N.M. – For the second year in a row, Presbyterian Rust Medical Center’s (RMC) Volunteer Council is sponsoring the “Love a Wounded Warrior” event on Friday, February 13, 2015 from noon to 1 p.m. to help raise awareness about the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).

Members of the community are invited to hear Mary Quinteros Tallouzi share the story of her son, Staff Sergeant Daniel Tallouzi, and how she got involved with the WWP.  At the event, the RMC Volunteer Council will be collecting gift cards to be donated to the WWP, which will assist veterans with groceries, an evening out with a loved one or help cover the cost of gas accessing medical resources.

The Wounded Warrior Project exists to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured service members assist each other and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.
